Entrance Perspective
Design Intern from schematic design thru 100% construction documents. Estrella Falls was a planned 14 building, 250, 000 square-foot outdoor shopping center with nearly 100 tenants for the city of Goodyear, AZ. Additional civic amenities included outdoor pedestrian paths and walkways, parks, food courts and a theater. As this was a large project with a small team, my roles and responsibilities were extensive and included: building design and detailing, 3d modeling, rendering, client presentations and presentation graphics, signage graphics, construction documents and project submitalls. I worked directly with project managers from our client, Westcor, during regular design presentation and coordination meetings.
This project was shelved after 100% CD’s with the onset of the recent economic downturn and the quick withdraw of retail projects throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.
